There once was a Jew named Sam,
Who wanted to eat some ham,
His father said “No, sir,”
“It just isn’t kosher,
“And that’s just the way that we am.”
Jews don’t eat pork, you see,
For it says so in the life-giving tree,
The Tree of Life is the Torah,
So when you dance the Hora,
Probably pork you won’t see.
Sam, once, had tried bacon,
That his Christian uncle was makin’,
His uncle liked ham,
And didn’t give a damn,
So he let him have the piece he had taken.
But Sam wasn’t content, you know,
And although about it he was rather slow,
He got around to it, that Sam,
He asked God for more ham,
And God gave Sam an answer: “No.”
